Not much adoption-related info to post about. We need to read through our training materials again before Rima comes on Saturday.
Nick and I were in Louisville all weekend. Nick's mom had surgery Friday and the recovery has been rough so far. I really hope she's feeling better today but I haven't heard yet. I'm waiting for Nick to call me to let me know. Please keep her in your prayers.

This is Mandi (Scharlene's neighbor). Welcome to your wonderful (and yes - sometimes tense) adoption journey. We are living proof that that the prize is worth the wait. After 6 years of infertility our son joined our family by adoption. Here's his blog - carsonscrib.blogspot.com. I will help you with your birthmom letter, scrapbook, and any support you need along the way. We are actually starting our 2nd homestudy to adopt again - so we will wait together.
